Product Description |
| Ankh is a delicate composition of the original blended herbs and resins of Kyphi, with Citrus notes giving a semblance to original camel grass and calamus, spice notes truly reflecting the original formula, and resins, honey and woody notes blending perfectly to evoke that smoky aroma of burning incense. Truly a gift of the Gods and fitting tribute to the boy king Tutankhamen.
Reconstructed using actual written formulas found at Edfu on the Nile. It blends herbs and resins of sacred Kyphi with citrus notes to give semblance to camel grass and calamus and the resins; honey and woody notes evoke the smoky scent of burning incense. Truly a gift of the Gods and fitting tribute to the boy king Tutankhamen. |

Scents of Time calls Ankh Tutankhamen's Aroma of Intrigue. Well this young king had not much time to enjoy his life as a rule in ancient Egypt. Dedicating a perfume in honor to that young life and to the mystique that is surrounding his time as king of Egypt is a perfect setting for Ankh. This perfume is currently the only perfume for man though it is described as unisex and I have heard woman enjoying the spices and freshness that this perfume has to offer.
I can smell the key ingredients lemon and pepper along Myrtle, slightly sweet with its honey and cinnamon parts, I am not so sure if I can smell the smokiness. However the result is refreshing manly, something for a true modern gentleman, that shows respect and is a leader. I very good alternative to many scents that are in my opinion too strong and to herbal, spicy. A moderate fragrant that leaves the personality at first and compliments well with the persons habits and karma. Claudine de Vogel has created a wonderful result based on David Pybus findings. A classics in my opinion and 5 stars! |
